The applicants, who have applied for renewal of Passport or PCC or Surrender of Indian passport, may follow steps given below to know the current status of their application:

Open https://portal3.passportindia.gov.in/Online/index.html  on internet; click "Track Status"; Fill in the required details of ARN number (as given on the receipt provided from the Embassy, for example 24-1111111111), Date of Birth and Characters Displayed, then click on “Track Application Status”.
