Invitation for Invest India's EoDB Webinar - Why Compliance Matters 31st May 2023

The Invest India is organizing an interactive webinar “Ease of Doing Business Series”on 31st May, 2023 at 3 PM IST and the main focus of the webinar is “Why Compliance Matters".

2. INVEST INDIA (National Investment Promotion & Facilitation Agency) is working under the ambit of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India to promote Foreign Direct Investments in India.

3. The Union Budget of India for the Financial Year 2023-24 has laid down a blueprint to steer the economy towards increased growth and prosperity. To minimize bureaucracy and maximize growth, the budget has struck the right balance between effectiveness, fairness and consistency.

4. The interactive session on “Why Compliance Matters", will give insight to recent trends and the impact of global anti bribery and sanctions framework in New India. The presentation would be followed by an open Q&A session to further clarify specific aspects on the theme.

5. The Embassy is of the view that, this would be a great opportunity for Italian companies interested in expanding their businesses in India to understand better ways to begin/continue their investments in India.
