Hybrid Sustainable Textile Summit 2022

The PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) is organizing a hybrid summit (physical & virtual) titled ‘Sustainable Textiles Summit’ to be held from 22 to 23 September, 2022 at PHD House, New Delhi. The summit is supported by the Indian ministry of micro, small and medium enterprises.

The Summit will be attended by over 150 delegates in person and several delegates virtually from the textile and clothing sector, covering the textile value chain, garments, made-ups, and the textile machinery industry.

The summit will have sessions on Sustainable and Circular Textile, Building sustainability and circularity in the textile value chain, Policy reforms and strategy for textiles sustainability and Environmental issues. Mr. Upendra Prasad Singh, secretary, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India will be the chief guest for the event and experts from the France, Sweden and Germany, besides India will be participating in the meet.

The primary aim of the summit is to deliberate and discuss alternative ways to make the textile industry more sustainable in order to reduce the damaging environmental effects.
